The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing institutional projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves managing project activities, liaising with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with the institution’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities Summary
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee institutional projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans by defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders.
- Develop resource allocation and communication plans and establish quality assurance processes.
- Manage project risks through a structured risk assessment framework and implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project implementation by conducting regular status meetings and defining key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Track changes to project scope, timelines, and resources, assessing their impact on objectives.
- Maintain a project dashboard and prepare detailed progress reports for management.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, including data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and outcome comparisons.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Master’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- A Professional Membership in Project Management
- At least 3 years of experience in project planning and management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and institutional skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
