The Administration Officer provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. They support management and employees through a variety of tasks related to institution and communication, ensuring all administrative duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities Summary
  • Managing office space and supplies.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to CEIRD management and programmes.
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and institutional documentation.
  • Support procurement processes, travel arrangements, and logistics.
  • Assist with capturing data and preparation of reports, minutes, and official
  • communications.
  • Maintaining a safe environment for CEIRD staff, clients and stakeholders
  • Maintaining and checking if the internal control systems are functional
  • grounds and fleet maintenance
  • Tracking asset movements, transfers and tagging with their unique identity numbers
  • Maintaining efficient financial management and resource allocation in line with the budgeted expenditures.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory records and conducting regular inventory counts.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Higher/National Diploma in Office Management or Degree in Business Administration, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Conversant in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
